24/25 Calendar

We are now coming to the end of Season 2 of 2023/2024. With that brings a welcome break for many, both with netball and with holidays coming up - perhaps the break may bring some better and more consistent weather too; who knows?!

Looking ahead to the next two seasons, you can find your league Calendar on the links below:

Notable Dates:

Season 1

• The season will start on (or after, depending on which day your league is) Sunday 1st September.

• The last matches, before Christmas, will be played on (or before, depending on which day your league is) Thursday 19th December.

• The first matches, after the Christmas break, will be played on (or after, depending on which day your league is) Sunday 5th January.

• The last matches for Season 1 will be played on (or before, depending on which day your league is) Friday 14th February.

• There will be a 2-week break at the end of February before the next season starts

Season 2

• The season will start on (or after, depending on which day your league is) Saturday 1st March.

• During April there is a break, for Easter Holidays, optional friendlies will be offered out to teams.

• Bank Holidays (no matches)

  • Sunday 20th & Monday 21st April

  • Sunday 4th & Monday 5th May

  • Sunday 25th & Monday 26th May

  • Sunday 24th & Monday 25th August

• The last matches will be played (or before, depending on which day your league is) Friday 31st July.

• Optional August friendlies will be offered to teams.

End of Season Awards

The end of season awards will be given out to teams/players/umpires on the last night of league matches

Tournaments

We will be running 2 tournaments next year:

• Inter-League Tournament Our annual Tournament for teams within Totally Netball to play to see who the best team across all our regions is. This tournament will be taking place at Moulton College and will be open to up to 32 teams. There will be bouncy castles and soft play area for kids, food and drink stalls and lots of netball

• Summer Time Tournament A brand-new tournament being played over every Saturday during July & August. Teams will play 1 match every Saturday in July and then the top teams will progress on to the knockout stages in August (no matches on Saturday 23rd August). The finals will be played on the 30th of August This tournament is open to all teams within and outside Totally Netball.

End of Season Questionnaire

All captains/vice-captains should now have received the End of Season Questionnaire.

Please can you ensure this is complete so that we can start working on the fixtures for next season.

Changes and Updates

We recently sent out an email detailing all the changes and updates coming in the new season - here is a summary (there is a link to the full document below)

1. Payment options & prices

   1. Pay-to-Play – £6.50 per player regardless of how many players play on the night

   2. Silver Membership – increasing to £30 a month

   3. Gold Membership – increasing to £48 a month

   4. Platinum Membership - increasing to £66 a month

   1. 18+ for new participants

   2. Current 16 & 17-year-old participants provisions
